Golden Rules

 

Culture eats strategy. Strategy drives focus & direction, but culture is the habitat in which a company’s strategy lives or dies. Strategy is about intent and ingenuity, but culture determines and measures desire, engagement, and execution. 

Delight your customers. The customer experience transverses the entire company. Remove friction everywhere, make it easy for customers to do business with you. 

Fail fast. Rarely does the first version of anything work so be prepared for failure, learn from it and adjust and get back out there. Keep moving forward and never give up.

Know what success looks like. If you can not define success, then it is impossible to achieve it.
